ALBANY Police are investigating a report that four men armed with a gun rushed into a woman's apartment this afternoon and made off with money and a cell phone.
Albany police are interviewing the victims, whose apartment is located in the 200 block of Tompkins Ave.
According to initial reports, one of the two women who reside in the apartment got a phone call from a friend who asked her to come to the friend's location. Reports are that four men were outside the apartment when she left.
The reports say the woman's roommate remained in the apartment and that the four men rushed in, holding a handgun in the woman's face. They then grabbed a bookbag, money, a wallet and a cell phone and ran away.
Police are interviewing the two roommates.

The APD couldn't catch a cold! They certainly never turned up anything when my home was broken into. Even wanted me to canvas the neighborhood!! Are we to assume that the woman received a phone call to get her out of the house?
