ALBANY According to a report from the Albany Police Department:
Two males armed with a small handgun walked into the K & S Convenience Store located at 1104 Newton Road late Sunday afternoon and demanded money from the clerk.
The clerk complied, handing over an undetermiined amount of cash. The two then fled the scene.
The Dougherty County Police Deaprtment was called in to assist the Albany Police Department with canvassing the area with their K-9 Unit.
The two suspects are in custody and charged with armed robbery and the possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
The two teenagers arrested are Vontavious Wilcox and Justin Wilcox, both age 17.

Now, what will the system do with these two? Make an example of them, so it discourages others? Let them off lightly to encourage others? Seems as if there isn't enough punishment out there to discourage folks from doing armed robberies, as they seem to be a continuing, and growing, problem.
