ALBANY. Ga. — Law enforcement authorities arrested three Tifton men on theft, various drug charges and possession of a firearm by a felon Tuesday.
According to a report from the Tift County Sheriff’s Office: After a search of 114 Quince St., deputies seized 17 bags of marijuana worth $350, 19.6 grams of cocaine valued at $1,500 two stolen handguns worth $980 and $1,200 in other stolen property.
Placed under arrest were, Andreffre Dewarren Gainer, 38, Donald Pierce, 44, and Algernon March Sherman, 29. The charges against the three ranged from from drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a felon and theft by receiving stolen property, the report added.
