ALBANY, Ga. — Ward II City Commission candidate Melissa Strother will host a cookout to meet prospective voters Saturday at CW Heath Park, officials say.
Strother is running against Ivey Hines and Cheryl Calhoun for the seat vacated by Dorothy Hubbard, who is running for mayor.
The cookout will begin at 11 a.m. and last until 1 p.m. Saturday.

Attended the cookout. It was refreshing to meet Ms. Strother, she really cares about the prople of Ward II. And the ood was very good, too!
