Three GHSA teams in the Albany Herald Fab Five played tonight. They all LOST, most notably Monroe High, the only DoCo school on the list who now goes to 3-5. The only ones who did not lose had a BYE week.
This week all DoCo schools lost: Albany, Westover, Dougherty, and Monroe.
I DARE the Herald to keep any of them in the Fab Five next week. If they do, they no longer have a shred of credibility.

You're a loon, sir. Go watch some football, instead of the two-hand touch you're used to seeing. I DARE you to go watch Westover and say they're not one of the best five teams in the region. If you do, you no longer have a shred of credibility.

Why don't you post it again? Better yet, why don't you post a top 5 so we can see what an expert you are? By the way, Westover and Monroe played two very good teams in AAA and nearly pulled upsets.

Being one of the best "five" teams in the region is not saying much since only 4 make the playoffs. "Nearly pulled upsets"...how do you figure? If they has called it half time it would have been an upset. Unfortunately for you, they still require that you play all 4 quarters. The best you can say is, "we won the first half." Coach said, "we had no fire in the 2nd half." I say, "attitude reflects leadership."

Region as in Southwest GA, not the region they play in. Monroe trailed 21-0 at half and came back. I don't think they were saying "we won the first half." They could have packed it in. They didn't. I say the fact they rallied "reflects leadership." Westover was playing one of the best AAA teams in the state and led 20-0 before losing. I'd also say that qualifies as them nearly pulling an upset because nobody in the state expected them to win.
