ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department is reaching out to the public to help locate three individuals investigators believe are connected to three separate incidents over the last several weeks.
Rickey B. Champion, 51, reportedly made several unauthorized transactions at a local NAPA Auto Parts. The transactions were made on his ex-employers’ account. The incident was reported by the employer on Aug. 16.
Champion’s last known address was 1220 Augusta Drive.
Michael Shane Cox, 37, is wanted in a theft of a motor vehicle.
On Oct. 10, officers responded to 2114 Tompkins Ave. in reference to a report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim told police that an unidentified person had taken his white 1985 Ford van that was parked in his backyard.
Cox’s last known address was 576 Stocks Dairy Road, Unit C in Leesburg.
Lashunya D. Green, 22, is wanted for forgery in the first degree and theft by receiving stolen property.
On Sept. 9, police say, Green cashed a stolen check at Jaxx Beer & Wine located at 605 S. Slappey Blvd. Her last known address was 610 Medlock Ave.
Anyone who has information regarding these incidents or the whereabouts of Champion, Cox or Green should call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS.
