SASSER -- A concert to highlight young hip-hop talent in the region is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sasser Flea Market.
The concert will feature artists Loyal Breed, FABE, The Riverside Boyz, Dem Invader Boyz and Jzhea Money.
Loyal Breed will perform their hit single "Boom A Lot" and Jzhea Money will perform a song he wrote in memory of the 9-11 terrorist attacks called "Uh-Oh."
"A lot of young artists express themselves through their music," promoter Willie Lattimore said. "This concert is meant to give them the opportunity to showcase all this up-and-coming young talent -- plus give people the chance to hear and buy their music."
Additional music will be provided by DJ D2D from Atlanta, and the concert will be emceed by comedian Dr. Disco.
Arlington comedian Johnny Stevenson will open the show at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $12, and tickets are available at the gate. Patrons are allowed to bring in coolers, grills, tents and lawn chairs, but glass bottles are prohibited.
Latimore will present a second concert at the Sasser venue featuring the rap artist Whodini in conjunction with Terrell County High School's homecoming on Oct. 8.
