Squawk of the day - Sept. 7, 2011

Males should not be allowed to work the cash register in women's lingerie stores. I want no man knowing what kind of underwear I have on, except my husband.

Isn't this sort of like the question as to whether women reporters should be allowed into men's locker rooms? This is no different that a woman working as a cashier in the men's department wondering if that man wears hanes or boxers. Maybe men should not be cashiers at a grocery store or drug store when you are buying your tampons. "OOOH, I don't want that man to know it's that time of the month"

I think it's nice to have a guy working in this capacity and most women don't mind this one bit. They can have some insight to help all the clueless guys who may need assistance in making purchases for the women in their lives.

It's a new world out there and most people could care less if you have your underware on or not. Don't forget to vote YES on sunday liquor sales.
