ALBANY — Cancer Ties, Inc. will hold its 5th annual benefit at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Doublegate Country Club.
This years recipient is Albany resident Hayley Champion Tennyson who is currently battling cervical, uterine and ovarian cancer. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be given to her to assist with expenses incurred throughout her diagnosis and treatment.
The event will include a silent and live auction; live opening music provided by Highway 55, J.T.’s Yo Yo’s. The headliner for the evening will be the Kinchafoonee Cowboys.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased through; Southern Elegance of Georgia, Verge, Blush, Dr. Wren Chiropractic and Envy.
“We are expecting about 400 to 500 guests at the event.” Carrie C. Hutchinson, President.
Some of the previous recipients are Sabrina Powell, Miles Goosman and Allison Salter.
