SYLVESTER, Ga. -- A white Hyundai Sonata smashed through the front door of the Short & Paulk Hardware store at 1008 Franklin Street, Sylvester at about 8:45 a.m.
The driver, Ossie Lowe, described as an older woman, apparently hit the gas when she should have hit the brakes, said Sylvester Police Department Sgt. Demetric King.
No injuries were reported from the crash. The car was towed away and no charges will be made, King said..
