ALBANY, Ga. -- Sonjolette Ellis, 27, suffered a gunshot wound to her leg about 3:50 a.m. Thursday while at 617 Willard Ave., stated an Albany Police Department report.
Ellis was treated and released from Palmyra Medical Center on Thursday, a hospital spokesman said.
In another assault, a man reported he was hit on the back of his head with a hammer about 3:45 a.m. at 1311 East Tift Ave.
No further information on the assaults was immediately available.
