ALBANY --Albany State's, 30-27, loss to Valdosta State on saturday had a ripple effect in the national polls as the Rams dropped from No. 6 down to No. 13 in the Division II football poll, receiving just six votes.
The Rams also fell slightly in the Boxtorow HBCU Football Media Top 10 poll.
The Rams had been ranked fifth in the nation, and are now ranked sixth.
