TIFTON, Ga. — Truck and Tractor Pulling is back in Tifton.
The Fall Tifton Truck and Tractor Pull rolls into town on Friday and Saturday at the American Legion Fairgrounds. The event is sponsored by the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League and the Southern Pullers Association.
"Tifton and South Georgia really enjoy the family friendly entertainment that truck and tractor pulling offers," said Angela Moore, assistant coordinator of the pull.
The Tifton Truck and Tractor Pull is coordinated by the Ag Equipment Technology Club at ABAC with proceeds going to the new pulling tractor and club activities. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 years of age, and free for children 5 years and under.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and the pull starts at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The pull track is one mile east of downtown Tifton on U.S. Highway 82 at the American Legion Fairgrounds.
