The Georgia Department of Labor’s Mitchell-Baker Employer Committee and the Camilla Career Center is co-hosting a legislative update on laws passed this year by the Georgia General Assembly.
The focus will be on laws that are of primary interest to employers in the area. The event will be held from 9-11 a.m. Oct. 6 on the second floor of the A.A. McNeil Building, located at 30 West Broad St. in Camilla.
The featured speaker will be state Rep. Jay Powell, District 171.
The legislative update is designed for agricultural managers, business owners, human resource managers, supervisors, entrepreneurs and chamber of commerce members. Cost of the seminar is $15 per person, including breakfast.
