There is a squawk in today’s Herald (Sept. 27) commenting on the inappropriate moves of the Westover Danceline. Please know that Westover High School does not have a danceline this year.
At the end of the 2010 football season, the Westover administration decided to go in a different direction with the band auxiliary, so that the unit would not only be age-appropriate for the participating girls, but to ensure that Westover football games would have a “family atmosphere.”
If someone feels that we are failing to do so, I encourage them to contact myself or the principal, William Chunn, at (229) 431-3320.
