ALBANY — ALBANY, Ga. — A 15-month-old boy was taken from Byne Memorial Baptist Church daycare to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where he was declared dead after 3 p.m. today, said Greg Blackmon of the District Attorney’s Office child death team.
The case is under investigation by the team and the Dougherty County Coroner, he added. A woman who answered the phone at the church said she could not comment on the “situation.”
