Police/Fire/EMS report for Sept. 20, 1022
ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 32 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Theft by taking on the 900 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 800 block of Moultrie Road and the 100 block of Slappey Boulevard;
-- Battery on the 400 block of Lipsey Drive;
-- Pointing a pistol at another on the 1200 block of Westwood Drive;
-- Entering auto on the 1500 block of Dawson Road, the 1300 block of Hampton Court and the 1500 block of Dawson Road;
-- Theft by conversion on the 300 block of Sixth Avenue;
-- Terroristic threats on the 1100 block of Eager Drive;
-- Burglary on the 1600 block of Owens Avenue, the 1100 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 200 block of Frost Street;
-- Missing juvenile on the 300 block of Carriage lane;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 200 block of West Tift Avenue, the 100 block of Central Street and the 1500 block of East Tift Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 2600 block of Jackson Street, the 500 block of Don Cutler Jr. Drive, the 1200 block of Radium Springs Road and the 1700 block of North Harding Street.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to eight calls including:
-- Unattended cooking, a grass fire, a tree on fire, assist EMS, an active alarm, assess patient, disable vehicle battery and a bedroom fire ignited by a candle.
