Police/Fire/EMS report for Oct. 1, 2011

Albany police responded to at least 34 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Public indecency, saggy pants on the 400 block of Lippit Drive;

-- Burglary on the 300 block of Mitchell Drive and the 1300 block of Estelle Street;

-- Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 700 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 800 block of Cedar Avenue, the 1400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 100 block Mitchell Avenue;

-- Entering auto on the 2500 block of Nottingham Way , the 600 block of Residence Avenue, the 2900 block of Newton Road and the 2100 block of Locksley Drive;

-- Theft by taking on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1200 block of East Third Avenue, the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive;

-- Identity fraud on the 200 block of North Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Aggravated assault on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 1800 block of Gadsden Drive;

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 18 calls including:

-- A yearly drill at the Regional Youth Detention Center, two gas leaks, two electrical shorts, four vehicle crashes, two unattended cooking one of which did $11,200 in damage to the kitchen, a cardiac arrest,, a false alarm, a smoke scare and an activated alarm.
