Mr. and Mrs. Chris Fudge Wilkin of Colquitt, GA and Mr.

and Mrs. Myron C. Harper, Jr. of Valdosta, GA announce the

engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter,

Courtney Elizabeth Wilkin to Jefferson Alexander Howell,

son of Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Alexander Howell, Jr. of Blakely,

GA.

The bride-elect is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. William

Thomas Howell and the late Mr. Howell of Pelham, GA. She

is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ferguson

Cowen of Camilla, GA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Felix Edwin

Wilkin of Colquitt, GA.

Miss Wilkin is a graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy.

She attended Georgia Southern University and will graduate

from Valdosta State University in May, 2012 with a degree

in psychology.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Samuel Jefferson Clinkscales, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs.

Ernest Alexander Howell, Sr., all of Blakely, GA.

Mr. Howell is a graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy

and a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in communications

and is employed with Johnson & Johnson in

Tallahassee, FL.

The wedding is planned for June 9, 2012 at the home of

Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Alexander Howell, Jr. in Blakely, GA.

The couple will reside in Tallahassee, FL
