ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 52 incidents Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Burglary on the 1700 block of Fir Lane, the the 900 block of Ninth Avenue, the 1800 block of Melrose Drive, the 600 block of West Residence Avenue and the 1400 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of North Jackson Street, the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1000 block of Clark Avenue, the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 300 block of Pine Avenue, the 1000 block of Whitney Avenue, the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 200 block of Cotton Avenue;
— Forgery on the 1300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1500 block of Cordele Road;
— Arson on the 200 block of Salmon Circle;
— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of North Carroll Street and the 600 block of Johnson Road;
— Aggravated assault on the 400 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 400 block of Gaines Avenue;
— Missing juvenile on the 600 block of Willard Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;
— Terroristic threats and acts 600 block of Johnson Road;
— Vandalism (domestic) on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Assault (domestic) on the 600 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 800 block of Ninth Avenue, the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive, the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 600 block of Johnny W. Williams Road, the 400 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 900 block of Whitney Avenue and the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road.
Dougherty County police responded to at least eight calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
—Fraud on the 1200 block of LaJuana Street;
— Criminal Damage on the 1000 block of Spring Hill Drive and the 1000 block of Nelms Road;
— Animal control investigation on the 1700 block of Antioch Road and the 3500 block of Sylvester Road;
— Information (juvenile) on the 3100 block of War Eagle Road.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS:
The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 52 calls on Monday.
There were 32 medical calls, 18 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical Calls: Two chest pain, six respiratory issues, three faints, one diabetic issue, one seizure, two mental health calls, one miscellaneous pain calls and 16 various medical; Trauma calls: Six vehicle crash victims, seven falls, one laceration, one other trauma and three fight/assaults. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to seven incidents.
— A grass fire, four fires in adjacent vacant buildings, an unauthorized burn and a cooking fire.
