ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 44 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Entering auto on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way, the 200 block of Old Radium Springs Road and the 2300 block of Temple Avenue;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
-- Burglary on the 1900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 400 block of Faith Street, the 800 block of Bynam Road, the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1600 block of Acker Drive and the 400 block of False Drive;
-- Theft by taking on the 2200 block of Tompkins Avenue, the 1900 block of Aberdeen Road, the 800 block of West Roosevelt Avenue, the 900 block of West Society Avenue, the 900 block of Holloway Avenue, the 1100 block of Colquitt Avenue and the 2300 block of Dervan Drive;
-- Theft by conversion on the 400 block of Fourth Street and the 800 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
-- Deceased person on the 400 block of Flint Avenue;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Johnson Road;
-- Financial transaction card fraud on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
-- Battery (domestic) on the 1100 block of Fourth Avenue ;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 1400 block of West Fifth Avenue and the 500 block of South McKinley Street;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 100 block of Whittlesey Court.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 13 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Family violence, aggressive stalking and terroristic threats on the 900 block of Cordele Road;
-- Theft of less than $50 on the 300 block of South Westover Boulevard;
-- Family violence (verbal) on the 2600 block of Banks Avenue and the 1200 block of Williamsburg Road;
-- Vehicle crash on Mock Road at GA 133.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 56 calls on Wednesday.
There were 41 medical calls, 14 trauma calls and one other calls. Medical Calls: Two chest pains, five respiratory issues, one diabetic issue, one seizure, one obstetrics, five mental health calls, four miscellaneous pain calls and 22 various medical; Trauma calls: 11 vehicle crash victims, two falls and one other trauma. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
