According to Albany Police Department reports: At about 11:50 p.m. Friday a black gunman dressed in black held up Captain D’s Seafood Kitchen at 1902 E. Oglethorpe Blvd. The robber demanded the money bag from a clerk. He then left the restaurant, but Police recovered the plastic bag with the money at the scene.
A 3:10 a.m. Saturday report stated police responded to a stabbing attack at 309 S. Davis St. After a night of playing cards Ronald Ellison, 61, “asked his company to leave. At some point, the victim (Ellison) fell down and that’s when an unknown female stabbed him in both legs and on the right side of the head with a knife.”
The report added that Ellison’s wounds did not appear to be life threatening, but he was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Both cases remain under investigation.
