Arrests made in aggravated assault

ALBANY, Ga. — Two women were arrested Monday following their suspected involvement in a stabbing on South Davis Street early Saturday.

Officials with the Albany Police Department say that Patricia Ann Ousley, 46, and Nakeshia Nicole Keith, 20, each have been charged in connection with an aggravated assault of Ronald Ellison, 61.

Officers responded to 309 S. Davis St., Apt. 7, at 3:10 a.m. Saturday in reference to a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they contacted Ellison, who stated that after an evening of playing cards, he asked his company to leave. At some point, Ellison told police, he fell down and an unidentified woman stabbed him in both legs and on the right side of his head with a knife.

Ellison was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, and his wounds did not appear to be life threatening, police said. The case remains under investigation.

Ousley has been charged with aggravated assault party to a crime, while Keith has been charged with aggravated assault. Ousley was booked into the Dougherty County Jail.

Justice for Ronald! Que up the marchers. Where's the outrage? Where is Jesse Jackson; and Al Sharpton? What's Obama got to say about this? Call NBC and get them to process the 911 tape. We want justrice for Ronald! All he was doing was playing cards and fell over and got stabbed like a dog. We want justice.

Possibly because the actions of a Police Officer are dictated by the decisions of the prosecutors and the fear of a wrongful arrest suit. The police origionally brought Zimmerman to the station with the intent to arrest, but were over ruled. Coach don't blame the hard working COPS for the political actions of the Officials. We still see a lot of that around here with regard to tickets being voided, and certain charges being manipulated. All a COP can do is use their best judgement, and when over ruled suck it up and go on. By the way, COP stands for Constable on Patrol. Those actually working the streets and trying to do their jobs among all the political interferrance.

walt, I've told corch the SAME exact thing in about 3 other posts, regarding the cops and prosecutors. He obviously doesn't listen to reason or facts. Good luck with getting him to understand. I've given up!

Ellison would have been within his rights to defend himself while being attacked by these women - just as Zimmerman was within his rights to defend himself while being attacked by the thug, Martin. And neither should be arrested had they chose to defend themselves. This is not a right given by law. It is a basic human right bestowed by God. The law merely acknowledges it. And "Stand Your Ground" had nothing to do with either incident. People have a right to defend themselves while being attacked, whether your state has a SYG law or not. So where is the justice for Ronald?

Although I understand the point you are making, Ronald is receiving justice. The police have charged two women for this incident.

In a sane world you would be correct. But since Trayvon's supporters aren't going to let facts interfere with their agenda - I don't think us Ronald supporters have a obligation to do so.

Zimmerman's lawyers just quit on him.....hahahhahahaha!!! Now what??? I'm recommending TYWEBB to represent Zimmerman.....since he knows the law so good.......(wink, wink)

Right so Zimmerman should just be taken out in the woods and lynched. If the New Black Panthers got their hands on him, that's just what would happen. Coach, what would you do with him if he walked through your front door?

Victims shouldn't need lawyers. But by your racist comment - I'm glad you're happy about it.
