ALBANY, Ga. — Two women were arrested Monday following their suspected involvement in a stabbing on South Davis Street early Saturday.
Officials with the Albany Police Department say that Patricia Ann Ousley, 46, and Nakeshia Nicole Keith, 20, each have been charged in connection with an aggravated assault of Ronald Ellison, 61.
Officers responded to 309 S. Davis St., Apt. 7, at 3:10 a.m. Saturday in reference to a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they contacted Ellison, who stated that after an evening of playing cards, he asked his company to leave. At some point, Ellison told police, he fell down and an unidentified woman stabbed him in both legs and on the right side of his head with a knife.
Ellison was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, and his wounds did not appear to be life threatening, police said. The case remains under investigation.
Ousley has been charged with aggravated assault party to a crime, while Keith has been charged with aggravated assault. Ousley was booked into the Dougherty County Jail.
