Saturday Paddle the Flint
Saturday, April 14th – 10am
Explore a scenic section of the Flint River and learn about this amazing natural resource. Minimum age is 10. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Each participant should bring a sack lunch and water. Trip lasts approximately 6-8 hours.
Additional Information for all trips:
• All canoe trips above cost $45.00 per canoe.
• Trip guide, canoe, paddles and personal flotation device (PFD) are all included.
• All participants must be able to swim.
• No child under age 10 will be allowed to participate.
• Capacity is 2 adults per canoe unless parents have a young child.
• Coolers permitted, but no alcoholic beverages will be permitted on trips.
• For safety purposes, no flip flops or sandals allowed on trips.
• Hat, sunscreen and bug repellant are suggested.
• You must include payment with your registration to hold a slot.

HARVEY, Pulitzer Prize Winning Comedy

When Elwood P. Dowd starts to introduce his imaginary fried, Harvey, a sic-an-a-half foot rabbit, to guests a a society party, his sister, Veta, has seen as much as his eccentric behavior as she can tolerate. She dedicated to have him committed to a sanitarium to spare her daughter, Myrtle Mae, and their family from future embarrassment. Problems arise, however, when Veta herself is mistakenly assumed to be on the verge of lunacy when she explains to doctors that years of living with Elwood's hallucination have caused her to see Harvey also! The doctors commit Veta instead of Elwood. Thursday - Saturday shows at 8 pm & Sunday matinee at 2:30 pm Show runs: Apr 12, 2012 -Apr 21, 2012. Location: 514 Pine Ave

DOES THE JUNKANOO AFFRICAN STREET FESTIVAL IMPLY THAT THE WHITE FOLK TAKE A PASS ON THIS ONE? THAT EXTRA "F" MIGHT MEAN EXTRA AFRICAN. BTW THIS INCLUDES LIGHT-SKINNED BLACK FOLKS TOO.
