So would the so called Liberal ones.

Liberals have no "facts." They have a lie to make them look good for every situation. It is true, in most cases, that if you tell the truth, it is not believed, but tell a lie and some people will bend over backwards to believe it. If you doubt this, just watch the network news.

The only fact I need to know is to look at my living situation. Am I better off today than I was on January 20, 2009? The answer is NO. I am paying double for gas, I traded in my Infiniti for a Toyota, my retirement plan went from me retiring at 60 to probably retiring at 70. Since 2009, the entitlement culture has grown from "I need" to "I deserve". Sure, I'm in a much better place.

Amen, I'm still driving my paid-for 2003 Buick. Hopefully it lasts another year, dont know what I would do if I had a car payment every month. You didnt mention the prices of groceries... WOW! I lost a 1/3 of my retirement, and my husband's pay goes down every year while insurance rates go up. Ridiculous!

Oh yeah, forgot about groceries. I used to be able to get by on $50-75 a week, and now it is consistently over $100. The fuel prices affect all of that. No one brought up the word inflation yet...how can we continue to print money and not have inflation???

Wonder if this squawker could provide any proof of their facts of their statement? ..... Regarding if people are better off today than 3 years ago, you have a lot of Kool-Aid drinkers that think everything is going great.

A dictionary defines a conservative as "Holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation, typically in politics or religion." That being said...it isn't too hard to come up with facts that support the conservative view as long as a Bible is within hands reach. And if you look at some of the most common problems in our society you can trace them back to those who chose to go the against the conservative view. And do not mistake being "cautious about change or inovation" for being against change or inovation. Being a conservative, I welcome change or innovation as long as it doesn't compromise my integrity, morals, or salvation.

I am lost...I don't understand the squawk...proof of what....does this means if I say I am better off than I was 2-3 years ago I have to show my car titles, my property deeds, my tax returns, my bank statements, my financial records........to prove I am better off than I was a few years ago? Actually two old people don't need as much as they did when they were younger and had kids at home....OMG was it expensive then....!!!!!...now it is delightful...you would not believe how much better off we are now..........

Nope, never touch the stuff....but I also never pay attention to what goes on around me...believe it or not, don't care. I know you find that hard to believe but I live in my own little world. If I do I get my news off the net, not just the local stuff, but from around the world, get the news off the satellite dish my husband has installed in our field, not the tiny one, but the big 12-foot dish that he has programmed to pick up satellites that pick up news from around the world. He sends his receivers off to have them reprogrammed by techs and it allows us to pick up programs that others are not normally able to see. I don't know why it is that everytime someone is actually happy and content on here someone automatically assumes they are an Obama supporter.... I find that hilarious. As a matter of fact, I don't even vote in presidential elections, would never waste my time, but choose to vote for a US Senator because I believe the power lies in the Senate and not in the Presidency...and believe the office to be nothing more than a farce. Unfortunately the Senate is slowly becoming a place for people to get elected to so they take from John Q. Public. So, yes I am a lot better off now than I was even 2 years ago, a lot better off. We appreciate everything we have. My husband sweat his butt off during 4 tours of Vietnam, he got spit on in O'Hare once and once in LAX on his way home from overseas tours. I was on a bus in Oakland, California in 1967 with my 2 small children when a group of protestors against the war didn't realize that it was not full of just military troops and pelted it with rocks and overturned it... and thankfully we were not harmed. So don't give me the kool aid crap, don't give me the crap about not being better off than I was and not knowing I am..I know I am and I appreciate everything I have and everything I have acquired. I enjoy my life very much. We get a very generous pension from the government and excellent benefits and make good use of them. We travel to Europe every year for 2-3 weeks on vacation to government subsidized lodges (http://www.edelweisslodgeandresort.com) so once again, don't tell me I am not better off than I was. Now if you will excuse me, I have some iced tea with mint to sip.

Well i am going to wait about a year and apply for the open position as President of the Chamber. I will give my aunts address from a smaill out of state town so they won't think I am from a more progressive and larger city. They won't even wonder why I was only making about 1/4 of what they are offering to pay me.. Gee once I get hired I will be living like a king here in Albany. A 70% raise and all I have to do is show up and pretend that I am a big boy from out of town. Only problem the job will only last a couple years. Once they figure out who I really am and that I only took the job for the 70% raise it will all be over. But you know what I can always go back to my liittle town and tell them how much the people down in Albany paid me to come to the Good Life City.

Prove to whom? You? You had better hope the conservatives are still around because you will be up shit creek without the paddle. The Dumbocrats under LBJ started welfare and stole the taxpayers social security. If this is a example of a Liberal, then within 10 years you liberals will be killing each other. You don't grow food and you don't work, how are you going to live? Not off the backs of the conservatives because we can leave anytime we want to. And will.
