Hilda McDonald Story

ALBANY -- Mrs. Hilda McDonald Story, 81, of 1904 Palmyra Rd. in Albany died April 10, 2012 at Palmyra Nursing Home.

A private graveside service was held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. William Collins officiated.

Born in Worth Co., GA to the late Elbert McDonald and Margie Statum McDonald, Mrs. Story has lived in Albany over 50 years. She was of the Baptist faith and retired civil service from the Albany Marine Corp. Logistics Base.

Mrs. Story was preceded in death by her husband, Lum E. Story, Sr., son, Lum E. Story, Jr. and grandson, Kyle Galloway.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Galloway and her husband, Bob of Leesburg; sons, Keith Story and his wife, Pam of Findlay , OH and Martin Story and his wife, Alesa of Atlanta; six grandchildren, Jacob Story, Mariel Story, Keith Story, April Weekley, Jason Story, and Angel Harrington; four great-grandchildren, Chandler Herrington, Kyler Weekley, Taylor and Samantha Harrington.
