ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 52 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Burglary on the 1600 block of Waddell Avenue, the 600 block of 16th Avenue the 500 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 2000 block of Stratford Drive;
-- Entering auto on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 2400 block of Dawson Road, the 1100 block of Industry Avenue, the 300 block of Pine Avenue and the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
-- Financial transaction card fraud on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
-- Theft by deception on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
-- Possession of less than an ounce marijuana on the 2000 block of Newton Road;
-- Aggravated assault on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Cruelty to animals on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue and the 600 block of Johnson Road;
-- Theft by taking on the 1900 block of Schley Avenue the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 500 block of Westover Boulevard;
-- Identity fraud on the 2700 block of Ledo Road;
-- Child molestation on the 3800 block of Mayfair Lane;
-- Battery on the 1900 block of South Flintlock Drive;
-- Arson of a vehicle on the 2000 block of Beachview Drive;
-- Armed robbery on the 300 block of West Whitney Avenue;
-- Missing person on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue;
-- Vandalism, assault (domestic) on the 400 block of Heard Avenue;
-- Vandalism (domestic) on the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue and the 1400 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Stalking (domestic) on the 1700 block of Malone Drive;
-- Battery (domestic) on the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue, the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 300 block of Clark Avenue, the 200 block of South Valencia Drive, the 500 block of Florence Drive, the 200 block of Holland Drive, the 900 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and the 900 block of West Society Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE:Dougherty County police responded to at least 19 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Burglary tool located on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Animal report, three dogs killed chickens on the 2600 block of North Avenue;
-- Vehicle crash on the 900 block of Old Pretoria Road;
-- Theft of a bicycle on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 48 calls on Tuesday.
There were 26 medical calls, 21 trauma calls and one other call. Medical Calls: Two chest pain, Four respiratory issues, one faint, two diabetic issue, one obstetrics, two mental health calls, three miscellaneous pain calls and 11 various medical; Trauma calls: Nine vehicle crash victims, seven falls, three lacerations, one other trauma and one fight/assault. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 13 incidents.
-- Unattended cooking, four electric shorts, unauthorized burning, three activated alarms, fire prevention program, vehicle fire, grass fire and leaves on fire.
