Two injured in assault at local club

ALBANY — A fight with security personnel at an East Albany club resulted in two people being taken to the hospital early Sunday, Albany Police Department reports show.
Officers responded to Club Legends at 725 E. Broad Ave. at around 2 a.m. in reference to a fight. Upon their arrival, officers made contact with the victims, identified by officials as Larry Mosley and Dewayne Car.
The victims told police that they had gotten into a fight with the club’s security about entering the club. They then told police that the suspect hit them several times on their heads with an unknown type of handgun, officials said.
Upon the officers’ arrival, the suspect had reportedly already fled the scene.
Officials went on to say that both Carr and Mostly received medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Reports further stated that both victims were intoxicated, and refused to write statements.
