Police are looking for Darvin Damario “Pig” Stephen in connection with a shooting in March on Riverview Circle.
ALBANY, Ga. — Police would like to talk to 20-year-old Darvin Damario “Pig” Stephen about a March 27 shooting, stated an Albany Police Department report.
Stephen has black hair and brown eyes, is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 153 pounds, the report stated.
According to Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman, “He also has an outstanding warrant for probation violation.”
Investigators are looking for Stephen in connection with the shooting of Darrell Morris. He suffered a wound to his leg, drove about 1.5 miles from where he was attacked, and crashed into a tree, an Albany Police Department report states.
The 32-year-old Morris was driving his black Jeep Liberty on the 1900 block of Riverview Circle at about 8:32 p.m. March 27. When he pulled over, two men tried to rob him at gunpoint, Banks said.
“He (Morris) drove off and several shots were fired,” Banks said. “As he drove away, he was shot in the leg while still inside (the Jeep). He struck a tree near the (Dougherty County) jail at Evelyn Avenue near Blaylock Street.”
Dougherty County EMS took Morris in an ambulance to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. His injury did not appear to be life-threatening, Banks had said.
