Police/Fire/EMS - April 25, 2012

ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 51 incidents Monday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Theft by taking on the 800 block of 11th Avenue and the 400 block of North Cleveland Street;

— Stalking on the 800 block of Ninth Avenue;

— Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 400 block of Jefferson Street;

— Injured person, dog bite on the 1000 block of Fourth Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 300 block of Moultrie Road, the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 400 block of West Roosevelt Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of Cason Street, the 300 block of West Highland Avenue, the 2400 block of Sylvester Road and two calls on the 400 block of Alice Avenue;

— Cruelty to children on the 900 block of Lippitt Drive;

— Burglary on the 400 block of Lucille Street and the 400 block of Barburry Drive;

— Assault on the 900 block of 10th Avenue;

— Unruly child on the 400 block of Vintage Road;

— Interference with a city officer on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Cruelty to animals, a dead dog on the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue;

— Robbery by force on the 2000 block of Turner Avenue;

— Vandalism (domestic) on the 1700 block of Madison Street;

— Terroristic threats (domestic) on the 600 block of Society Avenue;

— Battery (domestic) on the 600 block of Flint Avenue;

— Assault (domestic) on the 900 block of South Maple Street;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 300 block of Cochran Avenue, the 1300 block of West Linden Avenue, the 200 block of West First Avenue, the 200 block of Kalman Avenue, the 2400 block of Dawson Road, the 2500 block of Stuart Avenue and the 500 block of Shadowlawn Drive.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS:

The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 41 calls on Monday.

There were 25 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and three other calls. Medical Calls: Three chest pain, one respiratory issue, one faint, two seizures, one mental health call, two miscellaneous pain calls and 15 various medical; Trauma calls: Three vehicle crash victims, three falls, two fight/assaults, a dog bite, a spider bite and two fight/assaults. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.

LEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE:

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to at least 35 calls.

— Disturbance on the 2800 block of Ledo Road, the 100 block of Hedgerow Drive and the 200 block of Mayfield Drive;

— Animal calls on the 400 block of White Pond Road;

— Road hazard on the 1500 block of Highway 19, the 200 block of Century Road the 200 block of Crotwell Road, the 1000 block of Highway 82 and the 100 block and 1800 block of Highway 82;

— Burglary on the 900 block of White Pond Road;

— Fraud on the 100 block of Deer Run Lane;

— Vehicle crash on the 3000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to six incidents.

— Two fire safety programs, assist Albany Police Department, vehicle with an overheated motor, a false alarm and an electric short.
