The way I've seen it since I've lived here it could be at most intersection in town.

Then there is Nottingham and Westover with a Reataurant right there for food.

That's a pit-stop.

It's because of people being impatient, running red lights (I've always said, traffic lights will not prevent accidents, being good alert drivers prevents accidents) traffic lights only work if drivers abide by the lights. Now someone wants a traffic light at the mall, another way of stalling traffic.

The biggest head scratcher I know of is the intersection of Old Dawson Road and East Doublegate drive. Clear views on both sides....a straight-T intersection. One direction has stop signs both ways....the other is a simple throughfare with a speed limit of 45 mph. Accidents there every two weeks. Weird!

Like I said, impatient drivers taking chances, pulling out in front of people, some not even stopping at the stop sign.
