Police/Fire/EMS report for Aug, 3, 2012

ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 53 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Thefts by taking on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road, the 1200 block of Creamer Street, the 200 block of South Jackson Street, the 900 block of Davis Street and the 1500 block of Seventh Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 200 block of South Shadowlawn Drive, the 500 block of Gowan Avenue, the 1900 block of Riverview Circle and the 1100 block of University Street;

— Armed robbery on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Entering autos on the 1300 block of North Davis Street, the 800 block of Seventh Avenue, the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road and the 200 block of East Oakridge Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of West Highland Avenue and the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Battery on the 400 block of Jeffries Avenue and the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Recovered property on the 200 block of North Jackson Street;

— Battery (domestic) on the 2500 block of Cardinal Street;

— Assaults (domestic) on the 1700 block of East Broad Avenue, the 200 block of Moore Avenue, the 600 block of Heard Avenue and the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Larceny, vandalism, on the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Aggravated assault, false imprisonment (domestic) on the 800 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Vandalism (domestic) on the 600 block of Heard Avenue;

— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 600 block of Johnny B. Williams Road, the 1300 block of Hobson Street, the 900 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 200 block of Telfair Street and the 200 block of North Broadway Street.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 52 calls on Wednesday, including 39 medical calls and 13 trauma calls. Medical and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, five respiratory issues, four chest pains, four miscellaneous pain calls, 19 various medical calls, eight vehicle crash victims and two falls.
