Anne Liesel Engelmann and Carl David Phelps

Mr. and Mrs. John Alvin Engelmann of Fitzgerald, Georgia

are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter

Anne Liesel Engelmann to Carl David Phelps, the son of Mr.

and Mrs. David Henry Phelps of Camilla, Georgia.The brideelect

is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey

Johnson of Minnesota and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Engelmann

of Missouri. Anne has a sister, Ms. Liz Fonseca of

Texas, and a brother Mr. Fritz Engelmann of College Park,

Georgia.

Miss Engelmann is a graduate of Fitzgerald High School

and the University of Georgia with a Master of Education degree.

She teaches Family and Consumer Sciences at George

Washington Carver Freshman Campus in Douglas, Georgia.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs.

Cecil Jerome Gore of Pelham, Georgia, Mrs. Jean Pavy and

the late Mr. Charles Clarence Pavy of Albany, Georgia, and

the late Mr. and Mrs. Eley Duane Phelps of Camilla,

Georgia. David has three sisters, Mrs. Jennifer Rigsby of Albany,

Mrs. Caroline Glenn of Moultrie, and Mrs. Rebecca

Ford of Senoia, Georgia.

Mr. Phelps is a graduate of Westwood Schools in Camilla

and Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business

Finance degree. He is employed by Gilman Building Products.

The wedding is planned for September 1, 2012, in St. Simons

Island, Georgia.
