Election a wake-up call to school leaders
Chuck Persall
I predict that our once great school system will gradually be returned to that status now that the racist “gang of four” has lost their voting majority along with their “We’ll do as we dang well please” attitude.
Their inexcusable actions have led to the hiring of a grossly incompetent and unqualified superintendent who has already cost us taxpayers thousands of dollars by hiring his friend Darryl Sabbs for his “so-called” inspirational speeches to some children that couldn’t care less and didn’t even show up.
Let this election be a wake-up call to you simple-minded racists who think that you can do as you please just to help your friends without any real concern for the welfare of our children’s education. We’ve had enough of your ignorance and the election results prove it.
If we still had the honorable John Culbreath in charge, none of this would have happened. Mr. Culbreath is a man of vision who never saw things like you racists do. He would have never voted for someone as grossly unqualified as Murfree. I just hope that we can now learn to work together to repair the severe damage that’s been done to our school system and put an end to this senseless hiring and promoting friends just because of the color of their skin nonsense.
I believe in hiring and promoting for qualifications and leaving friendship and skin color out of the equation. Perhaps now we can return to that method and return our school system to its former exemplary status.
