The future bride

is the granddaughter

of Ms. Laura

Jane Horne of

Dawson , the late

Mr. Milton Horne of Castle Hayne, NC, and Mrs.

Gene (Martha) Harris and the late Mr. Gene Harris of

Dawson. She is the sister of Christian Harris of Dawson.

Powell is a 2010 graduate of Terrell Academy and is

currently employed at Oakcrest Academy Child Developmental

Center in Leesburg.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Laura

Martin and the late Mr. Don Martin of Leesburg, Mr.

and Mrs. Wayne Coalson of Camilla and Mr. and Mrs.

Bobby Creech of Baconton. He is the brother of

Michael Coalson of Leesburg. Martin is a 2010 graduate

of Lee County High School and is currently employed

as a deputy at the Turner County Sheriff ’s

Department.

The wedding is planned for October 6th at 6:00 PM

at Piney Creek Plantation in Dawson. No local invitations

will be sent but all family and friends are invited to

attend the ceremony and the reception to follow.
