Marlee Morgan Locke and Charles Eldridge "Clay" Oxford

Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Locke of Dawson announce the engagement

of their daughter, Marlee Morgan Locke to Charles

Eldridge “Clay” Oxford of Americus, Ga. Clay is the son of

Mrs. David W. Oxford, of Americus and the late David

Wayne Oxford.

The bride-to be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Tommy Dale and Mrs. Barbara Locke and the late Bobby J.

Locke, all of Dawson. She is the sister to Mason Locke of

Athens and Taylor Locke of Dawson. Miss Locke is a 2011

honor graduate of Terrell Academy. She is enrolled in Valdosta

State University for the fall.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Eldridge

W. Perry of Buena vista and Mrs. Robert Hurt Sr. of Cordele

and the late Charles C. Oxford . Clay is a 2012 graduate of

Southland Academy and is enrolled in Valdosta State University

for the fall. He is employed by Albritton Construction of

Americus.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 15 at 6:30

PM at the Bison Valley Lodge in Americus with a reception

to follow the ceremony.
