DULUTH — It was a special night for American Idol winner Phillip Phillips as he returned to his home state on Sunday as part of the American Idol LIVE! tour at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
Screaming fans came out to get a glimpse of the top ten finalists from season 11 during the nearly three hour sold out show, including Colton Dixon, DeAndre Brackensick, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, Heejun Han, Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Phillips.
Phillips, the Leesburg native, sang his song "Home," which was his coronation song that was released after his final performance on the show.
