The Magic traded All-Star center Dwight Howard late Thursday night to the Lakers --- and didn't get a whole lot in return.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Dwight Howard is no longer a thorn in the Orlando Magic’s side.

ESPN.com reported late Thursday that a deal to send the unhappy Magic center out of Florida — finally — was done. Howard has demanded to be traded for nearly two years, and Thursday he finally got his wish.

ESPN reported that Howard will make his way to L.A. via a four-team deal that involved the Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers, the Magic and Lakers.

The Lakers will receive Howard, the Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.
