CAMILLA, Ga. — The Southwest Georgia Regional Commission is conducting sessions on managing credit at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday at the commission headquarters, 30 W. Broad St., Camilla.
“Most people wait too long to seek help” said Janet Clark Tisdol, a HUD-certified homeownership counselor with Southwest Georgia United in Cordele. Tisdol, who has years of experience in working with individuals on their credit, will help participants find ways to correct errors on their credit reports and to re-establish their credit
Participating in one of the credit session will provide budgeting and financial management education that will help individuals gain control of their credit and keep it under control in the future, SGRC officials said.
There is no cost to attend a session, but registration is required. Participants should call or email Anna Lee at (229) 522-3552 or alee@swgrc.org.
