ALBANY, Ga. — Another Dougherty County School Board race just got a little more interesting. The Albany Herald has learned that Terrance Wilson, the Jordan's Crossing leasing director for Greater 2nd Mt. Olive Baptist Church, is attempting to qualify to run as an independent in the School Board District 3 race against Democrat Velvet Riggins.

ALBANY, Ga. — A former Regions Bank employee has been arrested on theft charges after allegedly stealing $30,000 from the bank account of an elderly customer, police officials say.
