The 2012 Olympics have been good to “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips and his song “Home.” The song has been used in features for the American female gymnasts who won gold last week in the all-around competition resulting in increased sales of his debut single.
ATLANTA — American Idol winner and Leesburg native Phillip Phillips will join a handful of others in giving a free concert at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park August 31.
Phillips will share the stage with Lonestar, Paris Luna and Cody Webb as a part of the Downtown Touchdown Concert.
Gates open at 5 p.m.
