Why not ban stationary bicycles. You may trip or stumble getting on and off. Ban skateboards as one could fall off or get out of control and get ran over in traffic. Ban lawnmowers, you might get your foot caught in the blades. The point is, there is a long, long list of things around the house that could be dangerous. Are you going to ban everything?
