Sonya Johnson and Matthew Maxwell

Wayne and Terry Achord of Sylvester, GA are pleased to

announce the engagement of their daughter Sonya Johnson

also of Sylvester to Matthew Maxwell of Doerun. He is the

son of Ken and Debbie Maxwell also of Doerun. Sonya is the

daughter of the late Don Johnson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Colise Raines

of Sylvester and the late Earl Raines. She is a 2001 graduate

of Worth County High School and graduated from Valdosta

State University with a B.A. in Sociology, and from Walter F.

George School of Law: Juris Doctorate (Macon). She employed

by Dougherty County District Attorney’s Office.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred

Reynolds of Doerun, GA and Mrs. Annie Maxwell, of

Sylvester, GA and the late Richard Earl Maxwell. He is a 2004

graduate of Worth County High and graduated from the University

of Georgia with a B.A in History, and from John Marshall

Law School in Atlanta: Juris doctorate, 2012.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 15, 2012

at Southern Woods in Sylvester, GA.
