Just like most career politicians.

I too believe that if all Politicians were completely and legitimately investigated, they would be in jail awaiting bail or trial. It is what we have allowed our system to become. A cash cow for the milking of those that have the best access.

We hear of Romney's taxes because there is not dirt on the man. Most Mormans are good people and hard working. God has blessed him with the talent of making money and he is dragged through the mud. Get ready though, there are a lot of lurkers who never voice their opinions and you can believe they will be at the polls. O said it, if unemployment is what it is now, I will be a one term president. The folks vote with their pocketbooks and not much else.

If Obama ran on his record, he would deserve the death penalty.

Career politicians are most likely to cash in on their influence, but I do not remember any violating the constitution as much as Obama. He is not a natural born citizen and the 14th amendment did not change that definition. Cap and trade, dream act etc. in only three years he has well and truly fundamentally changed America. If he wins again the "politicians" will be permanently fixed at his discretion. People who only get information from MSM know nothing about the ugliness of his administration. They think y'all are crazy.

Um, RedEric, a product of DCSS I see. The 14th amendment does not say NATURAL citizen, it says NATURALIZED citizen....one do not have to be born in the US to run for president, one just has to have citizenship.

You do know that McCain was born in Panama, right?

0

waltspecht 2 years ago

Both McCain's parents were citizens. So he was born a Citizen no matter where he was born. Plus I might suggest you read it again. Naturilized doesn't make it.

My error. My McCain point was to point out the idiocy of the arguments. POTUS is a citizen and a taxpayer. Drop it; it's been 4 years Or are the repub's so incompetent that they cannot find anything else to talk about?

It is really ashame there are so many puppeticians (def: elected officials on a puppet string) like Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Biden, etc. who can convince the shallow-thinkers they are trying to help them. When in fact, they are doing these shallow-thinkers the most harm by taking away their diginity to make something of themselves.

Can anybody besides the entitlement crowd show any evidence that their lives or this country is better off since Obuma took office? You read on one page of the newspaper saying the economy added this many jobs, but on another page in the same newspaper a company announces they are laying off 190+ employees. You hear the same old garbage excuses..."Well it will take 10 years to clean up the mess Bush made" You can't clean up a mess creating a bigger mess. You can't lower the deficit by raising it. You can't lower the debt by continuously adding to it.

VSU....I hate to say it, but even if a frog was president (and unless I am part of the entitlement crowd because my husband and I get SS, military retirement and private retirement) yes, I am better off than I was since Obama took office, and before him, and before him. But it could have been a frog or a goat, it would have made no difference. I am better off because I have chosen to live a frugal life. We don't buy extravagant things, we don't live the high life, if we want something we save and buy it, we take a wonderful and exciting vacation every year to fantastic places. We are having the time of our lives. See, not everyone is miserable in their old age. Some of us are actually happy. I am not in any way trying to rub your nose in it and saying neener neener...but please, try not to be so angry all the time....just sayin..

What criminal record does the POTUS have? Or do you want him imprisoned because he is a minority?

Incarceration is the new Jim Crow, except in the states where old Jim never left; incarceration just makes segregation easier.

You need to go to the DOJ site & see the crime stats that's why there are more minorities in prison.

Hasn't he admitted to drug use? The statute of limitation may have run out, but he was still a law breaker.

1

erudite 2 years ago

That does not make him a criminal; one has to be charged, tried, and convicted to be a criminal. Have you ever driven faster than the speed limit or crossed the street outisde of a crosswalk? If so, using your definiton, you are a criminal too.

What about Bush's cocaine use? I guess that's different because he was 'the decider' and he's not president anymore.

Then by your definition we are a Nation of Criminals? I for one have never publically admitted to a crime. I never mentioned anything about Bush, one way or the other. Plus, I never said your Hero was a criminal, only a Law Breaker. I do believe if his financial dealings, and his wife's new found job once he was elected to the Senate were correctly explored. He might be charged with influence peddeling. Much like the individual that got jail for trying to sell his old Senate seat to the highest bidder. Or do you believe that Hospital job just fell in her lap after he pushed the selected legislation? Come on, you can't be that gulliable.

0

erudite 2 years ago

Um, no, we are a nation of law-breakers. One has to be convicted to be a criminal. I apologize for putting words in this post; I was refering to your earlier post in which you would have all politicians in jail awaiting bail or trial.

Where do you get the idea that the POTUS is my hero? I have much higher standards; no politician will ever be a hero to me.
