Republicans stalling Obama recovery plans

I think Paul Ryan will be Romney’s backbone this November election. What one day did to the Republicans’ views.

Romney did a complete turnaround, however, they - Romney and Ryan — don’t understand how the middle class lives and survives. They want to take away and get people to work. Obama wants to help the middle class and try and get them back on jobs. However, Congress needs to pass things Obama wants done so people can get jobs.

Congress is at fault 100 percent. They are holding up everything that needs to be done so, really, Obama’s hands are tied. What a shame on America. This is whites versus blacks. If that was a white man sitting in the White House, things would already be done.

Those wealthy Republicans sitting in Congress should be run out of Washington, D.C. It’s a shame, America, that people are ignorant, and power and money rule the world. All I can say is God bless America. Give us more integrity to go forward, and let us know we have a payday because our heavenly father looks down on every move.

Nadine, you should be praying for God to heal your own racist filled heart. Your articles clearly show you are blinded by your own prejudices. America does need to be blessed, but blessed with a renewed spirit to promote recognizing and rewarding those who work hard to serve and provide opportunities for others. We do not need more of the same from Obama to promote taking from the "workers" to give to others who have done nothing to earn it.

Nadine, you are half the way there. Both President Obama and the GOP want to get the middle class on their feet more. But both have different ways of accomplishing it. The Congress is at fault but not 100%. The major fault is with people like you (and me) and the distracters who have made comments. A country is no better than its citizen’s ability to work together. Calling each other names, blaming according to race is old, old school stuff. And believe me the rich and powerful have always been in all societies since the beginning of time. Unfortunately praying for us to be blessed sounds good, but unless we choose to change as individuals it is just futile. T. Wright

Obama, instead of wanting to get the middle class back on their feet, wants to shrink the middle class to more government dependency. Nadine and her ilk are the danger to our nation. Without her and others like her, there would be no Obama in the White House.

I think Rush Limbaugh summed it up pretty succinctly the other day: Our nation can survive another 4 years of Obama. What it cannot survive is a population that would re-elect him.

Yep, heard that, once again Rush is Right!

Obama had filibuster-proof Democrat majorities in Congress for two years. He could not get immigration reform, he could not get his budget passed, he could not get "cap and trade"........all he could get (by using a budget trick rather than by an actual vote) was Obamacare.

His ideas are the problem, not the solution. And many, many serious-minded, thinking citizens who voted for Obama last time, will not do it this time because they know he does not have a clue what to do, was not prepared for the Office of the President, has learned nothing from his 4 years in the Office, cannot run on his accomplishments but must divide the country by using class warfare in a desparate attempt to keep his job.

Our President wants everyone to be equal in the Middle Class, while he and his friends comprise the upper classes. His belief is that any of us that have earned a job or position got there on the backs of others, so he wants our income and wealth distributed to those others. Even if they have never worked a day in their lives. This is the Socialists dream.

What a racist letter. Nadine, you need to let go of the hatred.

It really does not matter who is elected President. They all lie, and make promises they can't keep anyway. So I'm not voting this election. Tired of the Parties pointing fingers at each other while this Country goes to hell, and they blame each other, Instead of working together to fix it. In the end nobody really gives a damn, as long as there is someone else to blame.

Hawk, I could not disagree more. America is at the proverbial crossroads. One road leads to "Lemmings Leap".......the other back to "American Exceptionalism". Everybody must chose their poison.

If you proclaim your own glory it is not glory. A country that wants to be great must must together with those that have disagreeing ideas. Good luck with that in this climate of "I KNOW WHAT'S WRONG AND EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG"
