"It was a waste of taxpayers’ money if you were just going to suspend the teachers for two months and give them their jobs back. You shouldn’t have brought in outside people at that expense to the taxpayers."

Have you ever known the DCSS to do anything that does not cost mega bucks? Are these teachers that are only suspended for brief periods of time quality teachers?

This was just drama at its best. They were never going to lose their jobs. Gloria will never lose her job unless she is found guilty. Look at Velvet Riggins. Not one person ran against her. This shows the ethics of the politicians in office today. They only care about themselves and not what is the best for the people they represent. They have sold their pound of flesh to the devil. Hope I live long enough to see it come to light. American may not be perfect, but I do not see anyone leaving it to go back to Liberia.

Squawker and tocar make great points. DCSS's trademark is to just thrash about because they don't have the slightest idea how to manage a school system. My curiosity was piqued on another blog as to whether Murfree has a PhD from Howard University. The DoCo school system should have authenticated his credentials but knowing that outfit it's highly unlikely they checked his criminal background. Sonny Perdue gutted the Ga school board's office of professional standards' section which certifies educators. Surely, #34 wouldn't be so stupid to think that eventually facts wouldn't surface considering the taxpayers' hornets nest in DoCo.

In retrespect, nobody should have confessed and nobody would have been punished. The entire thing should have just been ignored based on the results.
Two key learnings: One, for the children: don't ever confess if you do wrong and you will likely skate. Two, lawyers need to learn higher math in their 6 years of college.

I believe the tribunals were ordered by the governor's office, not the school board.

It is very obvious that in Albany you can commit any crime, have your picture taken for free at the jail, walk away without paying the price for that crime and the next time your name is mentioned in the media they will show your mugshot. Deny whatever they charge you with and you get to keep your job as long as that job is with DCSS, City of Albany or any county/city agency. Albany/Dougherty taxpayers pay out so much money for wasted services it is a shame.

If you ever get arrested just tell them you work for DCSS. The jails will begin to decrease with inmates.

They had to hire someone from the outside, if they had hired people from the inside, they would not have been suspended at all, probably would even get a raise.

Whth a little luck and God's Will, things will began to change at DCSS. Now there should be a special election for the seat currently occupied by a well known liar and thief. Maybe an honest person...

The 1st rule I learned about the government when I married my 1st husband was,"If it makes sense, they don't do it." That goes for Federal, county, state, the whole shebang.
