ALBANY, Ga. — Doc Heilinbels Pharmacy, Fountain and Gifts at 2409 Dawson Road, has been purchased by pharmacy giant, Rite Aid, according to Chris Cleveland, Heilinbels owner.
Cleveland declined to give further information about the transaction except that the change would be effective Tuesday.
"My business is excellent shape," Cleveland said, "and the gift shop section will remain open."
Cleveland said there was "much more to it" than a simple business purchase, all of which would be revealed upon the "go ahead" from the Rite Aid media department.

Chris and Andy, We are really going to miss you. We wish you both well. You have been the best team, and the best pharmacist/tech for many years. I hope the folks at Rite Aid know what a treasure they have on-board.
