CUTHBERT -- Willie Calvin "Boonie" Folds, 77, of Cuthbert died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 5th at 11:00 AM in East view Cemetery in Cuthbert with Rev. Jackie Williams officiating.
Mr. Folds was born June 13, 1935 in Georgetown, GA, son of the late John Lee Folds and Maebelle Henson Folds. Mr. Folds was a Baptist, an Air Force Veteran and was retired from Burgin Lumber Company as a sawyer.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Turner Folds, and a son James Lee Folds (Gina) of Cuthbert, a daughter, Connie Evans (Delano) of Blakely, a sister Hazel King of Louvale, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday (today) at Lunsford Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
