SALE CITY, Ga. — Sale City will hold its first Christmas parade Saturday beginning at 5 p.m.
“We wanted to offer the families some community-based events to give them something fun to do within the community itself,” organizer Tara Gardner said. “We think everybody will have a good time.”
The weekend’s festivities will begin Saturday with a kids’ pancake breakfast at the Shop and Save from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
After the parade on Saturday, the Gray Jr. High School band of Moultrie will perform at 5:30 p.m. A live Nativity Scene will begin at 6:15, followed by a gathering of local churches for a community sing at 6:30.
Horse and buggy rides will be available all day, as will food and beverages.
For more information, contact Gardner at (229) 336-7885.
