Squawk of the day - Dec. 5, 2012

"Saw a sign posted on Facebook: This goes out to all the girls and boys making babies that we taxpayers have to support: “If you can’t feed it, don’t breed it.” Can I get an amen from all of you taxpayers on this one?"

For more squawks, pick up a copy of today's Albany Herald.

Maybe they just want to be on the new season of Teen Mom. All of these "reality shows" are definitely improving the morals of the young people in our great nation.

If ya' cant do the time, don't do the crime! Keep it in your pants, young men/boys!

Wonderful, and what do all of you suggest we do with these Children? What do you want done with the Parents? Just what steps would you take? Go back to the sterilization laws of years past?

A good start would be to teach and require responsibility of all parties involve.

1st child - buy them a crib; 2nd child - sleeps in crib while #1 sleeps with mom; 3rd child - crib while # 2 & 3 sleep with mom. Pretty soon mom gets the idea. Oh, all this without our (taxpayer) support. If they want support, put the babies up for adoption outside of family preventing any family member from getting support.

What do I suggest we do with the children? We let them starve of course. Just kidding. But really, food stamps are a relatively new “entitlement,” originating circa 1940. What did needy people do prior to that? They relied on themselves, churches and other civic organizations. They certainly did not have multiple children and expect the government to take care of them.

In government’s attempt to social engineer a “Great” society, it failed miserably. In government’s attempt to manufacture morality, it also failed. Programs such as food stamps have their place, but the government failed in its implementation of the program. Instead of it being a safety net, it became a lifestyle. As predicted by Malcolm X, food stamps, government housing, etc. separated homes, and destroyed entire neighborhoods and communities (from within). Albany is a perfect example of this. When the government assumes responsibility for adults, adults forget how to be responsible. As such, irresponsible adults rear irresponsible children, and the cycle keeps going.

What I find the most disgusting about welfare queens is how they treat/raise the children they receive monies for. The children are neglected and mistreated. Have you ever heard how those women talk to their children? I shouldn't even use the word "talk" because all they do is hollar at them. I feel sorry for the kids being raised by these lazy, sorry excuses for a mother.

I was at the health department in Worth County Monday for the blood pressure clinic. While I was waiting, two women came in with a little boy who couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 years old. This undisciplined child was running around. One of the women told this little boy to sit at one of the tables and play with the toys. The little boy sat down, looked at the woman and said "Dumb Ass." to which the woman replied we dont talk like that in PUBLIC, She then sat down and continued to talk with the woman she came in with. I agree with Black Falcon.

What a tired squawk. Tomorrow, someone should complain about teenagers walking about with their pants hanging down. Friday, it can be about how Obama invented welfare and made everyone lazy. Saturday, it can be about how "Happy Holidays" is diminishing your Christmas experience. Sunday, someone can complain the DCSS School Board. Monday, it can start all over...
